What are delayed or offline transactions?

A delayed (or offline) transaction happens when it’s not processed in real-time, for example when you pay for something whilst travelling on a plane or when you use your card to pay for Transport for London (TfL) fares.

The transaction will show on your account when the merchant collects the money for the payment – usually up to 7 days after the original payment.

If you see a delayed or offline transaction and aren’t sure what it relates to, please contact the Customer Support team for further assistance.
