Why does my bank statement differ from my in-app transactions?

Why might the dates differ?

Your Kroo app will show all of your transactions – including pending transactions (funds earmarked to be collected by a merchant for a transaction you've authorised).

Your statement will always show your completed transactions and will be ordered by the date the transaction settles (which is usually a few days after a transaction has been authorised).

Why might the balance differ?

Your app will always display your available balance. This means that as soon as you authorise a payment, the amount will be deducted from your available balance.

However, your statement will display the total balance (transactions that have been collected by the merchant).
