To help keep your account and money safe, we no longer process bank transfers or card payments related to and from crypto asset providers.
If you've attempted an inbound payment into your Kroo account, you’ll be notified that it was not processed, and the funds will be returned to the sender within 3 working days.
If you've attempted an outbound payment from your Kroo account into an account related with crypto assets:
- for card transactions – the payment will be declined and no funds will leave your Kroo account.
- for outbound bank transfers – if your payment is made to a payee that we recognise as a crypto provider, the payment will be rejected and the funds will stay in your account.
At Kroo, we continuously review the best methods to protect our customers' accounts and funds. This policy update has been made to prevent and reduce the loss of funds. We regularly review our policies and will communicate any changes to our customers. This is in line with our Terms and Conditions (see point 19.7) as of 30th May 2024.
